About Me

I started writing professionally in 1993 after the murder of my 25-year-old son. I first started writing expressions of my grief and changing emotions, on a daily basis. This writing led me to write stories as a grief outlet and entertainment. My first book (not published for privacy reasons) was about my wife, family and I as we took a journey through the American Criminal Justice System seeking justice for our murded son. From there, I started writing historical fiction based upon World War I and II. I have also written a children's book under the pen name Grandpa Ralph.  

A vital community I inadvertently became involved with after the murder of my son was Victims Rights. I felt this was one way I could grieve and help other crime victims fight for rights that are non-existent to them in the US Constitution. I will soon have a book released through Village Books in Bellingham, WA dealing with this. The title of this book is "Beneath the Law," the Plight of the Crime Victim in the American Crimnal Justice System. Now that I am 80-years old I am finding a renewed relief and calmness in the church I belong to, The Church of Christ.
